Results for the second runs in the wet, not everyone bothered riding, but here are the results for those that did, these results don't count for any points or anythink, but are still interesting, only Gee went under 2 minutes, good effort to those that rode, I tried it and just got wet, muddy and hurt!

Heavy rain and pea sized (read chickpea sized) hailstones put an end to what was developing into an exciting days racing. An extremely fast and fun track was slowed considerably by the rain destroying anyones chances of beating the fast times set in the first run. Still, the sun shone for most of the weekend and everyone got the opportunity to get a load of runs in on the excellent track developed by the Team Skene riders and The Goldings - thanks guys.
Gareth Hopkins was giving it all in his first run and knocked himself silly by mashing his face into a stump not 5 metres from the finish, still he's OK and he'll be back to the night job as soon as he's prettied up again.
Mark Beamont won overall with a 1 minute 45.7 second run, congratulations to him and everyone else who won and even those who didn't.
Thanks also to Forest Enterprise, the crew and Cardiff Ajax cycle club who did the marshalling all weekend. And, of course thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the track at Abercarn.
