An interesting weekend then. Marc Beaumont (MBUK/Santacruz) showing everyone that a bit of water on the track needn't make much difference. When he came down with a 3:02 everyone was astonished. Even his mechanic 'Jellybean' was questioning the timing. Fair play, lets wish Marc the best with his 2006 World Cup efforts. A pair of Marzocchi 888 forks should help him on his way. Dan Stanbridge (Mojo) second over the weekend and Tom Deacon (Electric/Santa Cruz) in third over the weekend.
A massive thanks to Marzocchi for supporting Dragon Downhill for a third year.
More to follow when I get some more energy.
Don't forget the practice day at Abercarn on the 1st April.
Big shout to the crew, including the Marshalls, Ryan, Ray, Shaun, my girls and the commissaires (Simon and Simon) who were there at short notice due to a cycling incident
And the sponsors of course, without whom it wouldn't happen.
