Pen Yr Heol eh?, might have a future, might not. Blame it all on Ben Greenland, I was happy to call it a day after Rd4 but he opened his big mouth. 3 weeks of building dashed by a bit of drizzle. Only kidding, it'll bed in nice and become a cracking venue I'm sure, if it doesn't we'll all get together and let Bens tyres down..

Shame about the bike thefts, if you were affected let me know and we'll see if we can do something about it, the culprits might be local, they might not be. For the record 3 bikes have been stolen from Dragon races in the last 10 years, two from Gethin and one from Abercarn (to my knowledge anyway, possibly one from Mtn Ash, but I'm not sure) Now NINE in one night (allegedly, now I and the local police are only aware of THREE bikes being solen) If you had a bike stolen let me know about it. The lesson is, DON'T BE A TARGET, after this we're going to be a major target, don't let it happen to you.

Thanks to all the marshals and staff, most of all to Trevor Williams who was on the transport and carried on despite his son Peter having his bike stolen, true grit, no kidding, makes me feel ill that scum can steal from people like this.

Less of the negative shit, hope you enjoyed the first real DH race we've had for a long time, new tracks and gloop rule, hardpacked manicured DH tracks suck. Lets have more like it next year.
