A camp/caravan site that is highly recommended is Pen-y-Fan near Blackwood, it's 5 mins from Abercarn ,10 to Cwmcarn, 20 to Mountain Ash or Gethin, 45 to Rheola. There are washing and drying facilities readily available, electric hookup, a pub and a restaurant, the pub grub is good and the restaurant is really god for the money, the webby is http://www.penyfancaravanpark.co.uk/ and all details that anyone will need are on there.
