Unfortunately Manons season has been cut short by a big crash during the last practice session at the WC final in Windham. She crashed in the flat out run up to the road gap step down and broke her arm (humerus). Luckily it's a clean, uncomplicated, break and should heal well. She is bitterly dissapointed not to be competing at the World Championships but thats how it's going to be this year. On the plus side she is otherwise healthy and in good spirits. She was very pleased that the UCI left the Junior World Cup Series Trophy at Windham for her (we missed the podium because we were in A&E). So thanks to everyone that has helped Manons progress this year. She finished the World Cup as the First Junior Female and finished the series 11th overall in Pro Elite Women, fantastic for a first year Junior. She is a tough chica and will be back!!

We are off to Windham tomorrow, then to the Worlds at Mont St Anne. A huge thanks to Manons sponsors for helping fund this expensive US trip. Especially Royal, Fenwicks and Swift Credit Services, thanks guys.

Exciting times here. Manon qualified 4th at Champery World Cup then finished 6th in the final. At Val Di Sole Manon qualified 7th then finished 10th in the final. Best news is she is now in 10th place in the UCI DH World Cup and gets protection for the final round. Manon is now ranked 11th in the UCI rankings (2/8/2010).

Without doing anymore races Manon has snuck up to 22nd in the UCI rankings and is now the fouth Brit after Tracey, Rachel and Ffion. Champery and Val Di Sole coming up, we are headed out to the Alps this weekend to get ready.

To get Manon to the last round of the World Cup in the USA and the World Champs in Canada we have contacted some of our friends and have come up with a package to help fund the trip.

Swift Credit Services are the latest to step up and help financially for Manon attend these International races, Big thanks to Huw from Swift Credit Services for the help.

Our friend Jonathon from Fenwicks wrote Manon a cheque at Llangollen to help her with attending the Last round of the World Cup and the World Champs at Mont St Anne.

Another fantastic result for Manon at Leogang World Cup Rd3, 8th place again!, now a 167 point lead in the Junior Series, still 11th overall in the World Cup and now 23rd in the UCI rankings.

Wow, Manon got 8th in both the Qualification and Final runs at Fort William UCI DHi 2, this gives her a 97 point lead in the Junior Series, 11th overall in the 2010 World Cup and has boosted her to 27th place in the UCI rankings

Phew, picked up Manons UCI Junior leaders Jersey just in time all printed up and ready to go for The Bill

After Maribor Manon is ranked 48th in the UCI Elite female rankings.

Went to Fafe, Maxxis Round 2 on the weekend, it was HOT! Manon came 2nd, 0.8sec behind Pom Pom (Miriam Nicole, proper friendly lady, good to meet you)
